Extra-curricular activities

Homestead State School is a provider of active after school sport, a federally funded initiative. The program runs two sessions per week at the school campus. Two fully qualified coaches implement a motivating and engaging program which promotes an active and healthy lifestyle.

Students are provided each afternoon with a healthy afternoon tea including milk/juice, fresh fruit and sandwiches. Some of the activities students engage in include basketball, tennis, cricket, athletics, soccer and a variety of obstacle courses to develop and improve gross motor skills.

If you would like further information about the program, please contact the school office.
